VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST

Indicators:

[ ] Recent bereavement, divorce, redundancy or other life event
[ ] Low financial resilience or urgent cashflow pressure
[ ] Low confidence, literacy, numeracy or digital access
[ ] Possible coercion, third-party pressure or fraud concern
[ ] Need for alternative format, slower pace or trusted supporter

Support actions to consider:
- Ask how the client prefers to communicate
- Offer more time or a follow-up meeting
- Provide information in a clearer format
- Record agreed support needs on the file
- Consider whether advice should pause until the client is ready
